Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Patrick van Aanholt against Manchester City at the weekend.
Van Aanholt was in action for Palace in their Premier League match against City at Selhurst Park in London on Sunday afternoon.
The 28-year-old left-back started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Eagles lost 3-1.
The Netherlands international did not have a good game, struggled to cope at the back, and also let go of Raheem Sterling in the first half which led to the goal.
According to WhoScored, against City at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon, Van Aanholt had a pass accuracy of 66.7%, made one tackle and three clearances, and played one key pass.
So far this season, Van Aanholt has made 34 appearances in the Premier League for Palace, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Palace fans were not impressed with the display produced by Van Aanholt and have criticised the left-back on Twitter.
