Crystal Palace reportedly want to sign the Liverpool man.

Crystal Palace are interested in signing Liverpool stopper Simon Mignolet for around £8 million this summer, according to the London Evening Standard, and some Eagles fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

The Belgian, 31, served as Alisson Becker’s understudy at Anfield last season, and he will surely be keen for more regular first-team action, so a move to Crystal Palace might just be the ideal next stop for his career.

Mignolet joined Liverpool from Sunderland in the summer of 2013, for a fee believed to be worth £9 million, and he has gone on to make 204 appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside outfit.

He has struggled badly over the past few years, however, and maybe a move to Crystal Palace would help breathe fresh air back into his stuttering career.
