Townsend was off the pitch when Crystal Palace scored both of their goals on Tuesday.

Some Crystal Palace supporters are calling for Andros Townsend to be dropped for Bakary Sako.
Townsend started Palace’s 2-1 win against Watford on Tuesday, but was substituted midway through the second half with the Eagles trailing by a goal to nil.

Three minutes after the England winger’s exit, Sako replaced Timothy Fosu-Mensah and went on to score the equalising goal with little more than 60 seconds of normal time remaining.
Then, two minutes into stoppage time, James McArthur struck the winner as Crystal Palace climbed out of the Premier League’s bottom three for the first time all season.

And Sako’s goal – his third in 345 minutes of football this season – does not reflect well on Townsend, at least according to some Palace fans on Twitter.
Here’s what they’re saying about the 26-year-old’s performance.
Townsend has played around four-and-a-half times more football (1,569) than Sako, but has only three assists to show for it.
