The Crystal Palace striker made his 11th Eagles appearance in the 3-0 win at West Bromwich Albion.

A much-changed Crystal Palace side secured an emphatic 3-0 win against West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday.
Andros Townsend scored twice and Patrick van Aanholt once as Palace ensured their progression to the EFL Cup fourth round.
The game against Championship West Brom gave the likes of Alexander Sorloth, the Norway striker signed from FC Midtjylland in January, a rare opportunity to impress the Eagles manager Roy Hodgson.
But despite the £8 million setting up the first of Townsend’s goals, many Crystal Palace fans remain unconvinced by his ability.

This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Although the replies aren’t all bad…
Sorloth has only played 11 times for Crystal Palace and scored his only goal for the Eagles in the previous round’s win against Swansea City.
The 22-year-old’s return of one goal and an assist in 245 minutes of football this season is still however better than that of Palace’s other senior strikers, Christian Benteke, who has failed to contribute directly to any of his side’s strikes in 328 minutes, and Jordan Ayew, who has assisted once in 242 minutes.
