Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is certainly a fan favourite at Selhurst Park having come up through the ranks with the club – and fans have been having their say after the player was linked with Tottenham Hotspur.
Zaha, 23, was born in the Ivory Coast but moved to London aged just four, and joined the Palace academy eight years later as he began his career with the Eagles.

After starring in the Championship – helping Palace win promotion in 2013 – Zaha earned his big move to Manchester United, becoming Sir Alex Ferguson’s final ever signing as Red Devils boss.
However, a dismal spell with United led to the former England international re-signing for Palace just a year after his departure – and just two years on from his emotional return to Selhurst Park, his performances appear to have attracted interest again.

Despite questions over his end product, with just two goals and one assist last season, Tottenham Hotspur appear to be keen on signing Zaha, with The Guardian reporting that Palace have snubbed a £15m bid from Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
Palace appear to have resisted that offer, but Zaha allegedly suggested to his manager Alan Pardew that he wanted to leave in order to play Champions League football – and Eagles fans have taken to Twitter since the rumours broke in order to give their views.

Some Palace fans think that, given Zaha’s affinity with the club, losing him to a Premier League rival would be particularly difficult to swallow, and think that Spurs need to stump up big money if they are to secure his signing before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
Others believe that, given Zaha’s limited end product, Palace should cash in on the winger – and even suggested potential part-exchange deals for midfielder Ryan Mason or wingers Son Heung-min and Nacer Chadli.
