Crystal Palace signed Patrick Van Aanholt from Sunderland in the January transfer window.
Crystal Palace fans have praised Patrick Van Aanholt’s performance against Sunderland on social media website Twitter.
Van Aanholt was Palace’s most expensive addition of the January transfer window, and he was thrown straight into the Eagles’ first-team against Bournemouth last night.

The Dutchman had an immediate impact, as he helped Palace pick up an impressive 2-0 victory at Dean Court.
The Eagles took the lead through Scott Dann and then finished the job, when Christian Benteke notched a late second.
The victory was just Palace’s second since Sam Allardyce took charge, and it has brought some much needed optimism back to Selhurst Park.
Palace fans certainly seem to be impress with their new additions, and Van Aanholt earned plenty of praise for his showing.
Despite winning, Palace still remain in the Premier League’s relegation zone – but they have closed the gap on some of the teams above them.
Allardyce’s men are currently two points behind Swansea City, with their next match coming against Van Aanholt’s former club, Sunderland, at the weekend.
