Crystal Palace fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Mathieu Flamini.

According to The Sun, Palace are interested in signing Flamini on a free transfer.

It has been reported that manager Alan Pardew has turned to the the Frenchman after missing out on Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, who joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal on transfer deadline day.

Flamini is a free agent at the moment, having been released by Arsenal at the end of the 2015-16 season.

The former Marseille and AC Milan midfielder featured in 16 Premier League matches for Arsenal last season, creating three chances in the process.

The Eagles have made a disappointing start to the 2016-17 Premier League campaign.

The London outfit are 17th in the league table at the moment with just a point from three matches.

Pardew’s side will take on Middlesbrough away from home at the Riverside Stadium in the Premier League after the international break.
