Crystal Palace were beaten 3-1 by Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday.

Alexander Sorloth of Crystal Palace looks on prior to the Premier League match between Crystal Palace and Newcastle United at Selhurst Park on February 4, 2018 in London, England.

Crystal Palace fans have hammered Alexander Sorloth after his performance against Brighton & Hove Albion last night.

Palace were beaten 3-1 by Brighton yesterday, with their performance worryingly poor.

The Eagles were up against 10 men for much of the match, but they still failed to pick up a victory.

And Sorloth took the brunt of the criticism on social media website Twitter after putting in another poor display.

Sorloth was brought to Palace last January, but he still does not have a Premier League goal to his name.

The lanky striker just hasn’t been able to cause any sort of problems to defences in England’s top tier, and he looks short of the quality required.

Palace’s defeat against Brighton has led to concerns rising at Selhurst Park.

Roy Hodgson’s side are sat in 15th place in the Premier League table, just three points above the relegation zone.
