Wolverhampton Wanderers are currently the bookies favourites to sign Bakary Sako from Crystal Palace.

Roy Hodgson’s comments about Crystal Palace winger Bakary Sako could encourage Wolverhampton Wanderers to make a move for the winger.
The 30-year-old was a fans’ favourite during his time at Molineux, and he has been tipped as a potential addition for Nuno’s side.
Sako is out of contract at Palace this summer, and Hodgson has confirmed that the winger will be leaving Selhurst Park.

“No, he is not signing, he doesn’t want to sign,” Hodgson said to Football.London.
“I guess he will be moving on, I don’t know, the last I heard was that he had turned down the offer of a contract that we had made to him, so that’s the last I have.”
Sako could still be a handy addition for Wolves, as they look to bolster their squad for a Premier League campaign.
The attacker impressed at Palace last season, despite not being a permanent starter.

Sako scored six goals in 19 appearances for Palace last season across all competitions, and he could help to strengthen Wolves’ attacking options.
Although Nuno already has plenty of options going forward, Sako has more Premier League experience than most of them, and he could be a useful player, if he was brought back to Molineux.
