Crystal Palace and Liverpool fans have been reacting on Twitter after Mamadou Sakho put in yet another excellent display in the Eagles’ surprise win over Chelsea on Saturday.
Sakho joined Sam Allardyce’s men on loan from Liverpool during the January transfer window, and has been a revelation during his time at Selhurst Park.
In the four appearances he has made for Crystal Palace, they have kept three clean sheets and have won every single game to ease their relegation worries.
And while the trio of clean sheets saw Sakho earn a lot of praise, it was perhaps his latest performance that received the most plaudits as Palace defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
The 27-year-old was immense as Palace stunned the Blues to open up the title race slightly and maintain the daylight between themselves and the bottom three.
Unsurprisingly, Palace fans have been lauding what an incredible acquisition Sakho has turned out to be, but Liverpool supporters have also been commenting, with some criticising Jurgen Klopp for letting him go while others have refused to get carried away regarding the Frenchman’s form.
