Wolves have enjoyed a wonderfully successful campaign in the Championship this season, and are currently just 12 points away from guaranteeing promotion back to the Premier League.

The Black Country outfit’s owners are a seriously ambitious bunch, and if they do in fact go on to secure promotion, as is expected, there will surely be plenty of new arrivals at Molineux in the summer.

It will be vitally important for Nuno Espirito Santo to add some Premier League experience to his squad before the start of next season, and that should be his priority, rather than splashing the cash on expensive foreign imports.

With this in mind, a fantastic option for them could be Yohan Cabaye, who will be available on a free transfer in the summer, if he fails to agree a new deal with his current club Crystal Palace.

The Frenchman is technically gifted, and has the ability to dictate the tempo of the game from the central midfield position.

Cabaye would be the ideal addition for Wolves, and would be the perfect central midfield partner for the excellent Ruben Neves.

The pair could strike up a superb partnership and understanding for Wolves, and the Portuguese ace could learn a lot from the 32-year-old France international.

The former Newcastle man has earned 48 caps for France – something that highlights his undeniable quality, and Nuno should seriously consider bringing him to Molineux this summer, if his side wrap up promotion back to the top flight.
