Crystal Palace winger Jason Puncheon tops the Premier League in an unwanted category this season.
The 29-year-old has attempted 37 shots this season – and is yet to find the back of the net.
This is five more than the next ‘unluckiest’ player, Watford midfielder Etienne Capoue with 32. Stoke City ace Charlie Adam is a surprise name to figure in the top five, failing to find his usual eye for goal.

Last season Puncheon netted six goals, and it was only in August that Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew was urging England boss Roy Hodgson to consider him for a call-up, via the Mail.
Unfortunately while he struggles to score it is going to be difficult for Puncheon to make an impression and stand out to win a first England cap.
Puncheon’s misfortune is emblematic of Crystal Palace’s poor form in front of goal this season. The Eagles have netted an unimpressive 26 goals in 25 Premier League games.
