Crystal Palace ace Yohan Cabaye created more chances than any Premier League player this weekend.

Crystal Palace registered their first Premier League win in 2016, beating Norwich City 1-0.

Winger Jason Puncheon netted the winner, which lifted Palace 10 points clear of the relegation zone, easing fear they could be sucked into a survival battle.

Crucial to their win was French midfielder Yohan Cabaye, who created more chances than any player in the Premier League at the weekend.

Cabaye made five key passes, ahead of the likes of Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and Dimitri Payet, who each had four.

Cabaye’s contribution was vital, at a moment in the season he was required to step up.

His arrival at the club was widely hailed last summer after signing from Paris Saint-Germain, and he showed at the weekend just why he is so highly rated.

The 30-year-old midfielder has five goals this season, but despite his creative talents, has only one Premier League assist to his name.
