HITC understands that Crystal Palace ace Eberechi Eze has been left unsettled by the impending transfer of Michael Olise to Bayern Munich.

We reported that Bayern Munich are closing in on the signing of the French winger after Chelsea opted out of the race to sign the former Reading winger.

Those at Chelsea claim they opted out of the race for the Frenchman because of the money that the winger was demanding but HITC has been told Chelsea ended their interest in Olise when it became clear that he preferred a move to Bayern over Stamford Bridge.

After Thomas Tuchel’s ill fated spell in Bavaria, former Burnley boss Vincent Kompany has been tasked with turning things around for the German giants and Olise could be a very good signing for the German giants this summer.

Eze unsettled by Palace’s decision to sell Olise

Sources have told HITC that Eberechi Eze was very close to Olise and it is believed he felt the club could have kept them together under Oliver Glasner and pushed on next season.

The sale of the French winger has understood to have prompted Eze, who has been called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the European Championships in Germany, to consider his own future at Selhurst Park.

HITC have previously reported that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on the former Queens Park Rangers midfielder but other clubs are understood to be interested.

Premier League sides declare interest in Eze

The English midfielder has yet to be given a chance at the European Championships as England struggled through the group stages and will face Slovakia on Sunday.

HITC can reveal that several Premier League clubs are understood to be monitoring the situation of the Palace midfielder ahead of a potential move this summer.

Contact with the player’s camp is understood to have been made with Tottenham, Manchester City and Liverpool all believed to have spoken to the midfielder about a potential move this summer transfer window.
