Paolo Di Canio has been speaking about Paulo Dybala, and he had some criticism to aim at the Arsenal and Tottenham target.

What’s the story?

Well, Di Canio has warned Spurs and the Gunners against signing the Argentina international.

According to 90min, the north Londoners are both in talks to sign Dybala, with his contract set to expire in June.

However, if Di Canio has his way, it seems he wouldn’t go anywhere near the South American.

As quoted by Corriere dello Sport, the 53-year-old said: “It’s true that he could become a technical leader, but I cannot have an emotionally fragile one. If things go well, he turns up in games, but if things go wrong, I define him almost as a big cry baby.”

Mikel Arteta, nor Antonio Conte, are going to base their transfer plans around the opinion of Di Canio, in our view.

However, given his knowledge of Italian football, it is certainly interesting to hear the West Ham icon claim that Dybala has attitude issues.

So far this season, Dybala has scored 13 goals in 29 appearances, while also providing six assists.

Arsenal and Tottenham must do their research

If Di Canio is telling the truth and Dybala really is a problematic player, then Arsenal and Tottenham may as well steer clear.

Arteta has already had to deal with a number of disciplinary problems since replacing Unai Emery, shipping out the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after he arrived late for training.

Conte has also shown he has no time for those who don’t work hard.

Shortly after replacing Nuno Espirito Santo, the Italian offloaded Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele.

Therefore, if Arsenal or Tottenham sign Dybala and he does end up sulking around north London, we can’t envisage him lasting long at either club.
