Peter Crouch has praised Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura on BT Sport 1 (2:47pm, September 11, 2021) for his performance against Crystal Palace today.
Tottenham have suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in London this afternoon.
Spurs went down to 10 men in the 58th minute when Japhet Tanganga was sent off for two bookable offences.
Palace then scored thrice to pick up all three points from the Premier League game.
Former Spurs striker Crouch was following the match for BT Sports, and he believes that Brazilian winger Lucas was the best player for Nuno’s team.
Crouch said on BT Sport 1 (2:47pm, September 11, 2021): “I thought Lucas Moura was the one shining light.”

How did Lucas Moura play?
As the scoreline suggests, it was a really disappointing performance from Spurs.
Not many Tottenham players can say that they did well in the London derby.
Brazil international winger Lucas was one of the very few who did at least try to make things happen.

The former Paris Saint-Germain player made some good runs and tried to push Spurs forward.
Lucas took two shots and one was on target, had a pass accuracy of 64.5%, won six headers, took 51 touches, attempted three dribbles, and made five tackles and one clearance.
