Gary Neville has said on LADbible TV that he would pick Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo over Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The Sky Sports pundit has said that he would pick Ronaldo because he played with the Portugal international forward at United.
Neville has added that the 36-year-old former Real Madrid and Juventus star has also been doing it for much longer than Spurs striker Kane.
When asked on LADbible TV that if it is a last-minute chance to win the game, who he would rather it falls to, Ronaldo or Kane, Neville said: “For me, because I played with him, I have to say him (Ronaldo) for my life because I think he would always deliver in the big moments.
“Both of them I think I would back, but Cristiano just because I have played with him. He has proven it over 20 years now.”
Cristiano Ronaldo or Harry Kane?
Both Ronaldo and Kane are world-class players who will be keen on winning the Golden Boot in the Premier League this season.
Kane has done it season after season in the Premier League and could eventually end up as the top scorer of all time in the division.
The 28-year-old striker has scored 166 goals in 247 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
However, Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers of all time and is a living legend.
The 36-year-old is a goal machine who scored more than Romelu Lukaku – now at Chelsea – in Serie A last season.
That shows just lethal he still is in front of goal.
Most people would take Ronaldo over Kane.
