Cristian Gamboa has been impressed with Celtic teammate Callum McGregor.

Celtic defender Cristian Gamboa has spoken highly of his teammate Callum McGregor to The Scotsman.
Gamboa, has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Premier League club West Bromwich Albion for a transfer fee reported by Herald Scotland to be worth £1 million, made the comments following Costa Rica’s 1-0 win against Scotland in a friendly international last Friday evening.
The 28-year-old right-back, who played well against Scotland, told The Scotsman: “Callum is a fantastic player who is doing really good things for Celtic and scoring really important goals for us. I see the quality of Callum and the Celtic players on the training pitch every day.”

McGregor is a very good footballer who can only get better in the coming years.
The 24-year-old Scotland international midfielder has been on the books of Celtic his entire professional club career so far.
The midfielder has scored 26 goals in 156 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops so far, as stated on Celtic’s official website.

Gamboa has struggled to play regularly for Celtic since his move in the summer of 2016.
The Costa Rica international right-back has made a total of just 24 appearances for the Hoops, as stated on the club’s official website.
The 28-year-old former West Brom right-back has played in just two Scottish Premiership matches so far this campaign, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
