Cristian Gamboa was serenaded by Celtic fans on Saturday.

Cristian Gamboa has paid tribute to Celtic fans after they literally sung his praises on Saturday.
The Costa Rica right-back was arguably Celtic’s best player as Brendan Rodgers’s side beat Partick Thistle 3-1 at Firhill this past weekend.
The former West Brom man has been very much on the fringes of Rodgers’s plans at Parkhead since securing a £1 million [Herald Scotland] move to the Hoops two years ago.
But Saturday was a big reminder of his talents – and Celtic fans knew it.
The travelling supporters sang the 28-year-old’s name to the tune of Seven Nation Army – an honour that the Bhoys faithful had never bestowed on Gamboa before – and the man himself was blown away.
He told Herald Scotland: “I’ve been two years at the club and they hadn’t sung my name so today was really special, especially as my family were here.
“I’ve been in the shadows, working hard and, trying to get a chance. Today, myself and my family got something back.”
Mikael Lustig, who started both of Celtic’s Premiership games this season, was rested but Rodgers clearly has a big decision to make now.
Does he reward Gamboa’s performance by keeping him in the side for when the Scottish champions visit Suduva in a first-leg Europa League playoff on Thursday, or does he go with the experience of Lustig? It isn’t an easy decision for the Northern Irishman, but it’s a good headache nevertheless.
