The Spaniard is currently playing in Belgium on loan from Charlton Athletic.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Cristian Ceballos looking dejected
Former Tottenham Hotspur youngster Cristian Ceballos has been speaking about his career at White Hart Lane to the press in Belgium this week.
The 23-year-old was snapped up as a teenager from Barcelona in 2011 and Spurs had high hopes he could go on to be a regular first-team player in North London.

However, he never made a first-team appearance for Spurs. He was on the bench for one Premier League game back in November 2014 against Hull City but did not make the field and spent time out on loan at Arouca in Portugal.
Speaking to Het Belang van Limburg he suggested it was Andre Villas-Boas who put an end to his Spurs career:
“When I was eighteen, I signed a four-year contract at Tottenham. Harry Redknapp saw my talent.

“In training I played with stars like (Gareth) Bale. But when (Andre) Villas-Boas was in charge, I was shaking. I was loaned to Portuguese side Arouca.
“Last season Charlton came with a three-year contract, which I could not continue because of an injury.
“Why I myself never came through at Barcelona or Tottenham? Maybe I was formerly not always the right choices. And you need luck. So good luck.”
Since leaving Spurs the Spaniard has done little to suggest that his former club are missing out or that AVB made a mistake in judgement.

He left for Charlton Athletic in July 2015 but struggled for first-team football at the Valley and this summer was loaned out to Belgian side Sint-Truiden.
Spurs meanwhile look like fighting for the Premier League title, but will no doubt wish their former player well in his future endeavours.
