England’s U21s struggled to get the better of Andorra last night, but in the end, the Young Lions managed to get the victory, winning 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Emile Smith Rowe.
As you can imagine, Smith Rowe’s goal got Arsenal fans talking. The Gunners fanbase were fawning over their player, but interestingly, they were just as impressed by Curtis Jones who provided the assist for the Gunners’ young talent.
Indeed, Jones played a huge part in Smith Rowe’s goal, he spearheaded the counter-attack before playing a perfectly weighted ball through to the Arsenal ace who provided the finish.
Arsenal supporters were blown away by Jones’ contribution and some fans are very excited about this link-up between Jones and Smith Rowe, hoping that they could be key for England in years to come.
Jones has really proven himself this season, he’s become one of Liverpool’s most important players, and while the Anfield faithful have been fawning over him for some time, it seems as though the wider footballing world is now waking up and realising what a talent this player is.
