The Crewe prospect is said to have impressed Tottenham Hotspur staff.
Crewe manager David Artell
Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell has denied having any contact with Tottenham Hotspur about teenage striker George Nunn.
Nunn scored a hat-trick against Tottenham in a recent youth team fixture and The Daily Mirror reported earlier this week that Spurs had asked the League Two side to ‘name their price’ for the 15-year-old.
However, when asked about the rumour, Artell told the Crewe Chronicle: “George is a good player, a good prospect and I’m sure his mum and his dad, who are good people, and he will see his future here.

“Tottenham haven’t picked up the phone to any of us so I’m not sure where it’s come from.
“It’s not come from us so if any of the fans are thinking we’re speculating to sell our young prospects – we are definitely not. I don’t think it’s come from George or his family either, so I’m sure it’s an over-zealous reporter.
“George has a bright future ahead of him and I’m sure it’ll be at Crewe Alexandra.”
Former England internationals Danny Murphy, Seth Johnson and Dean Ashton have all passed through Crewe’s academy, which is regarded as one of the best outside of England’s Premier League.

That being said, it is easy to see why Nunn may be attracted by the idea of a move to Tottenham, with the north London side – among other things – helping to establish Danny Rose, Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Harry Kane as regulars in the Three Lions set up.
Given the choice, should Nunn pick Tottenham over Crewe?
