West Ham United have won their last three games in the Premier League.
Aaron Cresswell has suggested that it would not be wrong to suggest that Andy Carroll’s return to the starting line-up has been a catalyst for West Ham United’s recent upturn in form, the Daily Mail reports.
The Hammers have put some daylight between themselves and the bottom three in the Premier League by winning their last three games.

That run began with a victory over Burnley at the London Stadium, and it was also during that fixture that Carroll made his first league start for the Irons since August.
And with Carroll also starting in the wins over Hull and Swansea – against the latter he also scored in a 4-1 victory – Cresswell has insisted that it should be no surprise that Slaven Bilic’s men have enjoyed a recent revival.
“No, it isn’t,” he said, as reported by the Mail, when asked whether West Ham’s recent form is a coincidence.
“Andy makes a huge difference, not just going forward but the defending he does at set pieces.

“He has been out quite some time and the shift he puts in is great to see. I just hope he can really kick on now.”
Bilic will therefore be desperately hoping that the 27-year-old can maintain his current fitness levels over the coming months as the club’s other strikers have struggled to make an impact this season.
Though West Ham are now well away from the relegation zone, they will surely be reminding themselves that their three recent wins have come against teams who look destined to be battling near the bottom of the table, so there is still plenty of work to do, especially in the coming weeks when they face both Manchester clubs.
