Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter after noticing what Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pépé were doing in the 77th minute last night.

After Lacazette netted Arsenal’s fourth goal against Slavia Prague, him and Pepe were seen holding hands in the air with the Ivorian’s arm stretched behind the Frenchman’s head.

It looked like a celebration they’d rehearsed between themselves, at first.

However, after another glance, it’s clear that the Gunners duo are creating an ‘A’ with their arms.

Some Arsenal fans think this was in tribute to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who missed the 4-1 win after contracting Malaria on international duty.

It certainly seems like it could’ve been, especially seeing as the trio appear to be good friends at the Emirates Stadium.

If Aubameyang was feeling well enough to watch the game, then surely he would’ve been left full of pride at Lacazette and Pepe’s performance.

It was Pépé who eased nerves all around north London with the opening goal in the 18th minute, before Lacazette’s double completely killed the game for Slavia Prague.

Hopefully, Aubameyang will have recovered in time to face Villarreal in the semi-finals, a stage that he has already shone on before.

The Gabon international bagged a Europa League semi-final hat-trick against Valencia back in May 2019.

He’s a man for the big occasion, to say the least.

Let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about the 77th minute moment…
