James Balagizi has told the Liverpool Echo that he finds Jude Bellingham ‘so inspiring’. The Liverpool gem has a huge appreciation for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, as he shows young talents like him that they can achieve dreams like playing in the Champions League.

Bellingham delivered a showcase performance for BVB in midweek, as the England star hit the opening goal away to Manchester City. The 19-year-old broke the deadlock early in the second-half at the Etihad Stadium for his third strike of the season from a glancing header.
Marco Reus teased an inviting delivery into Ederson’s penalty area moments after missing a chance to put Borussia Dortmund ahead in the UCL tie. Bellingham read the flight of the German’s pass to perfection to meet the ball at the near post and got the ideal connection.
It was Bellingham’s fourth Champions League goal from 18 appearances over two and a bit campaigns in the UEFA tournament. He has been an integral piece of Borussia Dortmund’s European plans since joining from Birmingham City for an upfront £25m in 2020 at just 17.
Now, Bellingham’s value has skyrocketed, as the Daily Mail reports Borussia Dortmund will want around £100m for the 15-cap England ace. A price Jurgen Klopp may not be opposed to paying, as The Telegraph notes Liverpool are expected to lead a race for a 2023 transfer.

Klopp is a huge fan of Bellingham, hence Liverpool’s interest in the Borussia Dortmund star moving to Merseyside next year. The Stourbridge-born technician clearly has his fair share of admirers at Anfield, with Balagizi – currently out on loan at Crawley Town – full of praise.
“He’s so complete, it’s just crazy,” Balagizi said. “He inspires others to go out and maximise our potential, and he’s doing that on the biggest stage right now.
“He’s so inspiring to me because that’s where I want to be in the future, as well. It just makes you think it’s possible to achieve what you dreamed of as a kid.
“There are people that I know doing it, so why shouldn’t I be there doing it? If I can keep my head down and keep working hard every single day, hopefully, one day I’ll get my opportunity and go from there.”
