Newcastle United have some of the best fans in the business.

Newcastle ace Fabian Schär spoke exclusively to the Chronicle after his side’s defeat to Tottenham, and offered high words of praise for the travelling Toon Army, labelling their support as ‘crazy’.
The Magpies put in a good display against Spurs, despite eventually losing the game, and following a successful January transfer window, there is a genuine feeling of optimism emanating from St James’ Park for the first time in a very long time.
Newcastle currently sit in 15th spot in the Premier League table, two points clear of the relegation zone, and they will need their fans, both home and away, more than ever between now and May.
Schar, who joined Newcastle in the summer of 2018, raved about the Magpies supporters, labelling them as the best in the country, when speaking exclusively to the Chronicle:

“They were like always. It is crazy how much they support us. All of the players know how important the fans are, at home and away. They’re always there. It’s big thanks to them again, they are the best fans in football.”
Next up for Newcastle is a trip to Wolves, before they face back-to-back home games against Huddersfield Town and Burnley respectively, so they have a great chance to create some breathing space between themselves and the bottom three over the next few weeks.
