Speaking to Manchester City’s YouTube channel, Kyle Walker has given his view on Joe Hart, claiming that he’s one of the craziest people he’s ever met.
The goalkeeper of course spent time with Walker at Man City, and while he’s at Tottenham right now, Walker seems to still have fond memories of the stopper.
Walker was reviewing clips of some of the fastest City players over the years, and he was asked to give his verdict on Hart’s full-pitch sprint to run back and make a save against Manchester United.
“I think that just sums Joe up in a nutshell. The most lovely, but the craziest man I’ve ever met in football. When it’s bitterly cold outside and it’s wet you’ll see Joe rolling around in the mud and he loves it. He’s like a big kid,” Walker said.
To be fair, this isn’t anything we didn’t already know about Hart.
The goalkeeper seems to be one of the top characters in football, he’s full of personality and seems to be a real laugh off the pitch.
The stopper may not play all that much at Tottenham these days, but it seems as though he’s still an asset in the dressing room, and sometimes, that’s just as important as having an effect on the pitch.
