Rangers are reportedly set to lure Jason Cummings to Ibrox in the near future.

Nottingham Forest striker Jason Cummings is reportedly set to join Rangers on loan until the end of the Scottish Premiership season – and BT Sport pundit Stephen Craigan believes he could be just what Rangers need.
The 22-year-old has struggled in the Championship after Mark Warburton lured him to the City Ground, only to be sacked last month. One-time Scotland international Cummings has scored four goals in just 17 games.

However, the Daily Record claim Graeme Murty is set to lure the former Hibernian striker to Ibrox this month, in what will become his third signing of January following midfielder Sean Goss from QPR and winger Jamie Murphy from Brighton.
Craigan, who captained Motherwell during his career, claimed that Cummings could be the answer as he reckons Rangers need a striker to rival top scorer Alfredo Morelos, with Eduardo Herrera not good enough and Kenny Miller injured.
Cummings has seen his reputation blossom since starring in Neil Lennon’s Hibernian side last season, scoring 23 goals to help the Hibees gain promotion back to the Scottish Premiership.
It remains to be seen if Cummings temporary move to Ibrox will become a permanent one, and whether the striker can rediscover his form in Glasgow with Murty’s new-look side.
