Former Rangers defender Craig Moore isn’t trying to tempt Aaron Mooy into joining the Ibrox club.
Former Rangers defender Craig Moore
Former Rangers ace Craig Moore has taken to Twitter to discuss the future of compatriot Aaron Mooy, who has been linked with a move to Ibrox.
Moore, now 40, has been retired for some time now, but he remains a popular figure at Ibrox having served as Rangers captain during the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.

The former centre back racked up more than 250 appearances in two spells with the club, winning five league titles, four Scottish Cups and three Scottish League Cups to become a club hero.
Intriguingly, one of his fellow Australians is now being linked with a move to Ibrox, as The Herald Sun reported last month that midfielder Aaron Mooy is a target for the Gers.

The 25-year-old, currently with Melbourne City in Australia, has impressed with 24 goals in just 58 games from midfield, whilst he starred for Australia in a recent friendly defeat to England.
Given that he not only used to play in Scotland with St Mirren but also has a Scottish wife, many believe Mooy could end up joining the Gers this summer – and Moore has been asked to help out.

Rangers fans took to Twitter to ask Moore whether he would look to convince Mooy into making the move to Ibrox, but the former defender claimed he is sure Mooy already knows plenty about Rangers, and doesn’t need Moore’s influence on any move.
Moore suggested it will be interesting to see how Mooy’s future plays out, as he will have a number of people helping him make his next move – but Moore himself seemingly won’t be one such person.
