Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon speaks highly of Kieran Tierney.

Tierney is one of the best young players in Europe and is one of the most talented players in the current Celtic team.
The 20-year-old is a left-back by trade, but he has performed admirably when deployed as a central defender.

The Scotland international has a bright future ahead of him, as it is clear that he could develop into one of the best defenders in the coming years.
Celtic goalkeeper Gordon has been impressed with Tierney, and the 34-year-old former Sunderland and Heart of Midlothian midfielder has thrown him a rather unusual challenge – play between the posts.
Gordon told The Express about Tierney: “He is good enough to play in midfield as well. He is just a terrific footballer. I want to give him a shot of the gloves to see if he can do that as well!”

Tierney has shown remarkable versatility, and him playing as a central defender and as a left-back is only going to be beneficial for him in the coming years.
However, for the youngster to establish himself as one of the best, if not the best, in one position, he should be played as a left-back unless it is absolutely necessary otherwise.
