The West Bromwich Albion man has been linked with Celtic and Burnley.

West Bromwich Albion have omitted Craig Dawson for their Championship opener today in a development which may interest the likes of Celtic and Burnley.
The 28-year-old is heavily linked with a move away from West Brom following their relegation from the Premier League last term.
Celtic were linked with a swoop last week [The Record, 30/07/2018 15:28] after also been linked in June, but The Birmingham Mail have reported that Burnley were hot on his heels lately.
And the English centre-back has been left out of West Brom’s visit of Bolton Wanderers today and it looks like he might be on the move – but where?
It seems unlikely that injury has prevented him from making Darren Moore’s squad after the defender previously handed in a transfer request.
The Mirror has previously credited Celtic with an interest but it seems unlikely that a move to Parkhead is a go – that is, providing the Clarets are genuinely interested.
However, The Birmingham Mail has reported that Burnley have turned their attentions toward Ben Gibson so, with Turf Moor potentially off the table, does Brendan Rodgers stand more of a chance? Time will tell.
