Liverpool have been encouraged to join the race for Antoine Griezmann.

Craig Burley has suggested on ESPN that Liverpool sign Antoine Griezmann.
The France international revealed earlier this week that he’d be leaving Atletico Madrid this summer.
Liverpool are favourites to win the Champions League this season after beating Barcelona to reach the final in Madrid on June 1.
Jurgen Klopp already has a formidable three-pronged attack of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah, but former Premier League striker Burley believes that Anfield would be a ‘great place’ for the Frenchman, who won the World Cup last summer.
He told ESPN: “I actually think that Liverpool would be a great place for Griezmann to go this summer.
“You talk about how good Griezmann would be linking up with Messi and Barcelona, what about with Liverpool’s front three?
“You look at that and we talk about Liverpool needing that strength in depth, he would add that and Firmino or Salah some games might sit out.”
According to Marca, Griezmann’s release clause will drop to around £103 million from July 1.

There aren’t many clubs around who could afford to pay those figures, but the Reds, if they beat Tottenham in the Champions League final, will have a huge windfall coming their way.
Well, a significant case prize in excess of £70 million [The Independent] will be coming their way regardless.
It’d be a stunning transfer for Liverpool and one that could help them go one better in the Premier League next term, after missing out on the title by a point to Manchester City.
