The Scot feels that the 26-year-old could join Everton in the winter.
Craig Burley has told ESPN that he fancies Everton to be a potential suitor for out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
The 27-year-old has managed only two Premier League appearances under Jose Mourinho so far this season.
As a result, he is expected to leave the English giants this winter, and The Mirror reported that Crystal Palace could offer him an escape route in January.

The France international cost United £25 million after Louis van Gaal brought him in from Southampton in the summer of 2015.
And although Burley reckons he will leave shortly, the Scot fancies Everton to throw their hat in the ring and try to sign him.
He told ESPN: “I think he will leave United. It could be Palace. It could be Everton, the team you like, or one or two others. He would do a good job for them in my opinion.”

Everton might be more realistic than Crystal Palace, based on the fact that the Toffees are more likely to be able to afford what United want for him.
They will want to recoup as much of that £25 million as possible, given he has only been at the club for a little over one season, and the Merseyside outfit seem to have the resources to seriously challenge for his signature – if they want to, of course.
