Pundits weigh in on Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League final plans were thrown into disarray after they conceded a first minute penalty.
Spurs were left chasing the game and could not get near to making a breakthrough.
Divock Origi doubled the Reds’ lead late on and put the game beyond doubt.
Pundit and former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley criticised Tottenham’s performance, noting that Liverpool did not play especially well themselves, and nor did they need to.
He hit out at Tottenham’s gamble to start Harry Kane up front in place of Lucas Moura.
Burley’s sentiments regarding Kane were echoed by former Manchester City star and pundit Rodney Marsh.
Kane’s record is so strong that Pochettino’s decision had some merit, but it seemed to backfire. Spurs only brightened up late on after Lucas came on.
Liverpool were deserving winners, with Jurgen Klopp winning his first trophy for the club.
