West Ham United and Newcastle United will both be on the hunt for a striker this summer.

West Ham and Newcastle both look to be there or thereabouts when it comes to securing Premier League survival after a recent upturn in results.
The Hammers will feel one more win is needed to seal their safety and David Moyes knows keeping West Ham up will see him rewarded with a longer-term contract.
Meanwhile Rafa Benitez is refusing to let his side rest on their laurels despite sitting pretty on 38 points.
Both clubs will want to ensure they are not in this situation again next season with all eyes – as they so often are when it comes to Newcastle and West Ham – on landing a big name striker to get the crucial goals.
And both have been linked with Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford in the past.

Rashford has been linked with a summer move away from Old Trafford after growing frustrated with a lack of game time and being played out of position under Jose Mourinho, as reported by The Sun.
The 20-year-old England striker has been linked with a permanent exit to some of the top clubs in Europe but many reports claim the Red Devils would only be willing to loan him out, and crucially not to a direct rival.
As two of the biggest clubs outside the top six who would be considered rivals to Manchester United, that gives West Ham and Newcastle hope.
So comments from Craig Bellamy on Sky Sports’ The Debate should give both clubs further encouragement after he suggested Manchester United may be willing to loan out Rashford so they can pick the club he goes to.

“I am sure Man Utd are looking at it and thinking ‘he isn’t going’,” Bellamy told The Debate.
“He might not be getting the game time he wants and maybe not next year if one or two players come in, but he could go on loan and go to a club they want (him to) because he is going to be there (Man United) for the long haul, because he’s that good a player.
“If he was available there would be a queue of clubs, top clubs, wanting to sign him. I think he’s going to be a star, one of the top players.”
