Everton are on the hunt for a new manager after parting ways with Ronald Koeman earlier this week.
Allardyce has been touted as a potential replacement for Ronald Koeman at Goodison Park, as the Toffees search for their new boss.
However, Bellamy doesn’t believe that the former West Ham and England manager would be interested in returning to club management with the Toffees.
“I don’t see Sam Allardyce taking it. Granted, this isn’t the same situation as it was at Palace. He’d have a very good group of players, a very big club, money to spend,” the former Welsh international forward said.
“I don’t see him being too interested, being out there, day in, day out, and the effort you need to put in.”
Allardyce has been linked to a range of jobs in the Premier League since his departure from England, but he is yet to take a step back into management.
If Allardyce did take the Everton job he would take charge at a time when the Toffees are badly struggling.
Everton are currently in 18th place in the Premier League table, and they have not won any of their last six matches.
At the moment the Toffees have David Unsworth in charge, but he is only expected to be manager on a temporary basis.
Everton were beaten 2-1 by Chelsea in their most recent outing in the League Cup, and take on Leicester City in their next Premier League fixture.
