West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble has faced criticism for his performances in midfield this season.

West Ham have had a difficult start to the season, even though they were able to pick up a victory over Everton.
And Bellamy believes that West Ham’s struggles stem from them not having enough mobile players.
He said: “This team and a lot of the players struggle with intensity and in this league you have to have it. I played with Nobes, terrific player, but he can’t get close. He can’t get close to people. They have too many players like that.”

Noble, who is on a £50,000-a-week contract at the London Stadium (Daily Star), was selected to start for West Ham against Everton, but was perhaps done a favour by Manuel Pellegrini.
West Ham started with a three-man midfield at Goodison Park, and they looked far better in the system.
Noble and Jack Wilshere had been Pellegrini’s first choice midfield pairing up until now, but the duo’s lack of pace has been exposed.
West Ham’s victory over Everton was their first of the season, and Pellegrini will hope that it provides a platform for his side to build upon over the rest of the campaign.
