Everton midfielder Ross Barkley has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Barkley has been strongly linked with a move away from Everton this summer, with Ronald Koeman confirming that the attacking midfielder won’t be at Goodison Park next season.
And Bellamy believes that Barkley has a lot of work to do, before he can be considered the finished article.

He said: “I’m not sure he’s a top player in his general play. There’s moments when I’m excited about him, but then there’s certain periods in games when I’m unsure what he’s doing.
“Does he know what he’s doing? He just seems off the cuff. If the game isn’t going well for him he doesn’t seem to be that intelligent to be able to keep things simple and build from there, it just gets even worse.”
Barkley is widely considered one of the brightest talents in England, but at the age of 23 he needs to start fulfilling his potential.
Barkley scored five goals and claimed five assists in 36 Premier League appearances for Everton last term.
The 23-year-old is currently having to watch from the sidelines, with his Everton teammates due to start their campaign with a match against Stoke City on Saturday.
