The 21-year-old is highly rated at Villa Park after coming through the ranks and was in Villans boss Dean Smith’s pre-season plans.

A number of Coventry City fans have taken to Twitter following the announcement that Aston Villa winger Callum O’Hare is to spend the 2019-20 season on loan with the Sky Blues.
The 21-year-old Villa Park academy graduate is a highly rated prospect at the club and spent the second half of last season on loan at Carlisle United in League Two.
O’Hare featured 16 times for the Cumbrians in 2018-19, scoring three goals and registering three assists as they made a late bid for a playoff finish, while this summer he was part of Dean Smith’s pre-season plans.
From Solihull like Villa captain Jack Grealish, the attacking ace made his debut for Villa in August 2017 and made eight appearances for them in the 2017-18 campaign, with one more in the claret and blue the following season.
“We’re pleased to welcome Callum to the football club,” Mark Robins told the Coventry website. “He is a naturally talented footballer, with great creative ability and an eye for goal too. He is at the stage of his development where it is important for him to get regular minutes in league football, and we look forward to working with him this season.”
Here is what some Sky Blues fans said on social media following O’Hare’s arrival at the club:
The Sky Blues, who sit third in the League One table after four games, two points off the top, face Gillingham at St Andrew’s on Saturday.
