Coventry City boss Mark Robins has been linked with Sunderland.

Sunderland lost 2-0 at Lincoln City on Saturday afternoon, and that proved to be Jack Ross’s final game in charge of the club.
Ross will have been hoping for a response in Tuesday’s Checkatrade Trophy clash with Grimsby Town, but he didn’t even get chance to take charge of the game as he was sacked just hours before kick-off.
Appointed after a strong spell with St Mirren, Ross now moves on after just shy of 18 months in the job, and the attention turns to who could replace Robins.
Roy Keane has been a popular name with fans, as has recently-sacked Daniel Stendel, but Mark Robins is a name that has recently been touted for the job.
TEAMtalk claim that Sunderland are eyeing a move for Coventry boss Robins, who has again impressed in his second stint in charge of the Sky Blues.
Robins left Coventry for Huddersfield Town in 2013, but returned to the club in 2017, and guided them back to League One just a year later with a play-off final win over Exeter City.

Robins boasts a win rate of around 42% with Coventry, and fans are unsurprisingly hoping that he doesn’t leave the club for a second time, this time for Sunderland.
Some think there would be more pressure at Sunderland and Robins should stay with Coventry, with a confident belief that he wouldn’t leave for a move to the Stadium of Light.
Others think Coventry have just as much of a chance of promotion as Sunderland, so there’s no point in leaving now, with others simply begging him not to go.
