Coventry City fans want former stopper Chris Kirkland to rejoin.

Former England international goalkeeper Chris Kirkland has announced his decision to come out of retirement – and Coventry City fans want him to go back to where it all began.
Kirkland turns 37 next week and has been without a club since his contract with Bury expired last summer.
The goalkeeper announced yesterday he is feeling positive and is ready to play again.
Kirkland has been open about his battle with depression which stopped him enjoying the last few years of his career.
He gave a very emotional interview to The Guardian about it last October.
At his peak Kirkland played for England and for Liverpool, with his longest career stints coming at Wigan Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday.

He began his career with Coventry City back in 1999 and fans of the Sky Blues want him back.
At the time Coventry were in the Premier League, right now they sit down in League Two where they currently occupy seventh position, pushing for a play-off spot.
There could yet be a fairytale end for Kirkland’s career if he made a return as a free agent and fans have been calling on him to make a comeback.
