Mateusz Musialowski seems to be keep on impressing for Liverpool.
Earlier in April, the 17-year-old won Liverpool’s Goal of the Month for March, breaking Mohamed Salah’s streak in the process.
And the young Polish attacker’s stock continues to rise following a brilliant goal for the Reds’ Under-18 side against their Arsenal equivalent at Anfield last night.
In front of an onlooking Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool youngsters posted a fine performance against the Gunners, winning 3-1 to move into the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup.
But it was Musialowski who stole the show.
Musialowski killed off the game as a contest by finishing off a brilliant counter attack, sparked by James Balagizi, with the former turning his man inside out before firing a left-footed finish into the far corner.
He showed such a cool head for such a young player and no wonder why Liverpool fans are absolutely singing his praises on Twitter.
Here’s what some of them are saying:
Is Klopp going to promote him next season? Nope.
If anything, Musialowski might get a loan and perhaps even to the Championship.
Remember, he’s the same age as Harvey Elliott when he was loaned to Blackburn last summer and the 18-year-old’s form in the second tier means Liverpool won’t hesitate to give Musialowski the same move.
