Leeds United signed the Everton man on a season-long loan yesterday.
Leeds United completed the signing of Everton centre-back Matthew Pennington on a season-long loan yesterday.
The 22-year-old became the eighth new face to arrive at Leeds this summer, and the first recognised defender that Thomas Christiansen and Director of Football Victor Orta have brought in.

He is the second young Everton player to leave the Toffees this week after fellow academy graduate Courtney Duffus joined Oldham Athletic on a permanent deal.
And the 21-year-old forward has congratulated his former team-mate on his switch to the Whites.
Pennington, who has been on Everton’s books since 2005, will hope that a successful stint at Elland Road leads to more first-team chances on Merseyside when he returns, having only made seven Premier League appearances during his time in the senior set-up.
He has previous experience on loan, following spells with Coventry City and Walsall in recent seasons, but it remains to be seen how he fares with Leeds.
Christiansen’s side kick off their Championship campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Bolton on August 6.
