Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Youri Tielemans has been full of praise for former Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele.
Tielemans was asked to craft a so-called ‘ultimate teammate’ taking attributes from a number of Belgian players to create the best possible footballer.
When it came to dribbling, Tielemans was spoilt for choice.
Eventually, he settled on Eden Hazard, but he gave an honourable mention to Mousa Dembele, labelling him as ‘amazing’.
What’s been said?
Tielemans was full of praise for the ex-Spurs man.
“You have a few but yeah for me it was Eden Hazard, but you have to mention Mousa Dembele as well, his dribbling was amazing, you just couldn’t take the ball off him,” Tielemans said.

Golden generation
Dembele was one of the key components of Belgium’s golden generation, but sadly, he couldn’t lead the Red Devils to glory.
Tielemans partnered him in the midfield on a few occasions, but unfortunately, their peaks didn’t coincide.
Perhaps Roberto Martinez’s team would have won the 2018 World Cup if Tielemans was just a few years older.
Nevertheless, Dembele was a truly excellent dribbler, and as Tielemans says, when he was at Spurs he was, quite simply, amazing.
