Lyon’s Ligue 1 midfielder Lucas Tousart has again been linked with a move to the Premier League, this time via Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Just five months ago, Lucas Tousart turned down a move to Everton.
According to France Football, The Toffees identified the Lyon star as a potential replacement for Idrissa Gana Gueye with the Senegal international seemingly on his way to PSG at the time. Tousart, however, made it clear that he wanted to stay in France and had no interest in making a move to Goodison Park.
So what chance do Wolves have off turning Tousart’s head?
Calciomercato have reported on Friday that Wolves are battling Inter Milan for the signature of the France U21 captain, who is apparently valued in the region of £18 million (Birmingham Mail).
Clearly, Tousart feels very comfortable at Lyon, having forced his way into the starting XI in the last three years or so.
But there are a few reasons why Tousart could be open to a move to Molineux, despite rejecting Everton just half a year ago.

After all, Wolves will be playing European football next season, unlike The Toffees, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side making massive progress in recent seasons. They have the ambition and the funds to make a concerted challenge for a place in England’s top six next year.
Tousart might just be tempted by the chance to take part in one of Europe’s most exciting projects.
And, as any Everton fan will tell you, Goodison Park wasn’t exactly a happy place to be back in January. They had endured a miserable festive period and questions were starting to be asked of head coach Marco Silva.
In contrast, there is a real togetherness and a feel-good factor about Wolves right now.
