The Tottenham Hotspur youngster looks to have a very bright future ahead of him.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks has enjoyed a superb breakout campaign having previously shown glimpses of his undeniable ability, but has the 20-year-old’s emergence prompted an upturn in form for some of his Spurs teammates, too?
Winks has had to make do with brief substitute appearances in recent weeks, coming off the bench for just 12 minutes against Everton and 24 minutes the week before against Stoke City.
He still managed a vital assist against the Toffees but could his form actually be hindering his chance of starting by forcing Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele to up their own games in response?
After all, Tottenham have reacted brilliantly to their terrible performance against Liverpool last month, putting in two of their best outings of the campaign to pick up six points (and seven goals) against Everton and Stoke.
In that time Wanyama and Dembele have been superb, knowing as they do that more slip-ups could see Winks replace them in the starting line-up.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino knows and trusts Winks’ ability, and it is up to the more senior midfielders at his disposal to prove they deserve to start week in, week out.
In time Winks will become a regular starter, but for now his impact thus far could be the very reason other Tottenham players are shining that little bit brighter than before.
