Crystal Palace are said to want £40 million for Tottenham Hotspur target Wilfried Zaha.

According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace plan to reject Tottenham Hotspur’s £40 million bid for Wilfried Zaha.

Tottenham are set to return to Zaha in the summer, as he is a long-term target of the north London side.

The Ivorian wide-man has caught the eye with his performances this season, but Palace’s huge asking price could point Spurs in other directions.

Palace are said to be preparing to reject an offer of £40 million for Zaha, with the Eagles wanting more for the 25-year-old.

And that may cause Tottenham to feel that Bordeaux forward Malcom is a better value for money option.

Malcom may not have played Premier League football before, but the Brazilian looks to be a hugely exciting talent.

Malcom has shone in Ligue 1 football this term, scoring eight goals and claiming six assists in 26 matches, and his future has been heavily speculated about.

The 20-year-old has already stated that a move away from Bordeaux is likely in the near future, with the Premier League an appealing destination.

And, given that he is likely to be a cheaper option than Zaha, Tottenham may be keen to rekindle their interest in Malcom, after missing out in January, according to the London Evening Standard.
