Newcastle United are keen to offload Jack Colback in the January transfer window, and West Bromwich Albion may be a potential destination.

Newcastle United may be hoping that new West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Pardew does them a favour and signs Jack Colback in the January transfer window.
Colback was not even named in Newcastle’s Premier League squad list this term and, as a result, has not featured for Rafael Benitez’s side.
Newcastle are now keen to offload Colback as soon as possible, and they may be hoping that Pardew is keen on a reunion.

Pardew was always a big fan of the 28-year-old, who he brought to St. James’ Park in 2014.
And Pardew may feel that adding a player like Colback to West Brom’s ranks could be of value.
Newcastle fans appear to have written off Colback, but he does offer good energy and has even shown a reliability in possession.

Colback also is very versatile, and is able to slot in at full-back or midfield.
And with Newcastle so keen to offload Colback, it would not be at all surprising if Pardew did try and strike a deal with his former club, to bring the flame-haired midfielder with him to the Hawthorns.
