A potential triple departure could save Newcastle United a lot of money.

Henri Saivet and Isaac Hayden have been linked with moves away from Newcastle United in the past 24 hours.

According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Sivasspor want to sign Saivet, while The Daily Mail reports that Hayden has handed in a transfer request.

Saivet earns £35,000 per week at Newcastle [Spotrac] and the former Arsenal man earns around £22,00 per week [Spotrac].

Both players have another three years to go on their contracts at St James’s Park, meaning that Rafael Benitez could free up around £8.8 million in wages – a tidy sum for the cash-strapped Magpies.

However, Aleksandar Mitrovic is heavily linked with a move to Fulham, having helped the Cottagers win Premier League promotion during his loan in West London last season.

And if Benitez can offload the Serbian – who earns £60,000 a week [Silly Season] on his contract, which expires in 2020 – then the Spanish manager could save United a further £6.2 million.

That adds up to an estimated £15 million, which is a hell of a deficit for Benitez to manage, and it could and should then make incomings a little easier for the Newcastle boss.
