Tottenham Hotspur have so many talented youngsters on their books that fans may struggle to decide which one to get most excited about.

There is Marcus Edwards, obviously, who will be looking to build on last season’s 15-minute cameo against Gillingham in the EFL Cup, while Kyle Walker-Peters should get his fair share of chances this season despite the recent arrival of Serge Aurier.

On 19 September Tottenham kick off their latest EFL Cup campaign and, given their presence in the Champions League and their hopes of another title tilt, the competition could allow some of the club’s next generation to shine.

Oakley-Boothes best chance may be from the bench, where he sat unused for Tottenham’s league game against Burnley prior to the international break, and if he comes on expect him to impress just as he did against the likes of Roma earlier this summer.
